Elisa C. Rice is a Los Angeles-based composer whose credits include the series "Contemporary Mating Rituals" and additional music for the upcoming Amblin feature "Come Play," "Passage to Mars" narrated by Zachary Quinto, and the Emmy-nominated TV show "Galavant." In May of 2017, the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra also premiered Elisa's first work for concert, "Charatah" a concerto written for 5-string electric cello and looping pedals that explores the musical landscape of regret and looping our past.

In 2007, Elisa scored her first of many independent short films, “Patience to Yourself,” which earned her Best Original Score at FCF Productions’ 2007 Short Film Festival Awards. In 2010, she went on to study Film Scoring at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where she gained acceptance into the highly exclusive Scoring Silent Film program, wherein students compose scores for silent films to be performed live-to-picture by the award-winning Berklee Silent Film Orchestra. During her studies at Berklee, Elisa co-founded the Women’s Film Initiative, an organization that seeks to combat gender inequality in Hollywood by facilitating meaningful networking among women across all filmmaking disciplines during their collegiate years.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Elisa developed a passion for preserving and promoting the Los Angeles recording community, leading to her role as Scoring Coordinator for Hollywood Scoring LLC. Currently, Elisa has parlayed her experience in coordinating large scale recording session and music productions to her role at Netflix in their Music Production for Series Animation Department.
